What should I add to Coinpurse Kobold?


I have received a lot of requests from people wanting to see Coinpurse Kobold developed into a full game, and I agree that it would be nice to see, I did not expect the reception to the game to be so warm!

I have some other ongoing projects I need to attend to (and actually cannot even attend to bugfixing until the judging period of the Gain Jam has concluded) but do plan on returning to this project at some point.

A very popular suggestion I've seen already is adding a way to distract people at a distance, whether by yipping, or spitting out a coin. Both were actually planned and partially implemented, but I couldn't get them working satisfactorily in time, so I opted to scrap them for the Jam version of the game.

Aside from bugfixes, more levels, and a proper story, what kind of things would people be interested in seeing added to the game?

and can you also add new sneaky ways to sneak

on this game u should add new maps, upgrades, fat stages probably an evolution line for the kobolds and new kobolds.

love the game excited to see what else you might work on or even add to this game

as to what to add to the game im honestly unsure as its verry good as it is currently, maybe more levels and a possible upgrade to 'eat' any pesky villagers at the cost of coin space? im onestly unsure tho i think if theres a 'mods' secction there may be a little more traffic to the game? like i said before there isnt much that i dont think thats lacking right now but i do hope to see more of these type of games

Please make this game into a PC game for those who uses the app called Joiplay that's my suggestion since Joiplay is an app it's the only app that could play PC games on the Android devices

Hello, Joiplay only works for RPG Maker, Ren'Py, and TyranoBuilder-based games, this game is none of those, as such, it will not work. It's not designed to work on android due to both controls and performance, as such, it won't be published on the platform. Apologies.

yes I did. Again, Joiplay is not compatible with this game.

Maybe some late game upgrade that make the game a lot easier or maybe make the NPCs get stuck in the doors like you. I already got all the upgrades but I still even got any of the perfect ending, I keep getting stuck in the doors while trying to escape in buildings

Well I have 4 suggestions:

1. an opition to change the dragons color (maybe in some type of shop or smthn);

2. add more maps;

3. add stages of weight, an example would be like: "you got 100 coins? then your speed is decreased;"

4. a way to escape the guards and/or citizens to get the kobold, like making a burp or a belch, that could be also a way to distract citizens or guards in game.

I hope you add atleast some of these, welp see ya in a another time!

well I wish I saw this way soon but it would be helpful to have more stuff to buy like maybe more characters and items that can be used to help with stealth or remove guards and random people from action for the whole level

I would love to see if this could get a multiplayer mode kinda like race to get as many coins before the other player. Just a thought of a game like this

My two things I would like to see is a tutorial and more variation of the guards and citizens. I didn't realize you could sprint and crouch until many plays later, and while the art shows fox guards there are only rat guards. Otherwise very great game and can't wait to one day see the full release(and maybe a bigger dragon belly size ;) ).

I hope I'm not to late with this. 


In terms of Quality of life:
* making the in-game camera be able to rotate the level 360 degrees would help a lot in areas that some players find hard to see their greedy little kobold.


In terms of power-ups:

* I would like to see a power-up that allows the kobold to use its gold filled belly, when large enough, to push back the peasants/normal people as a defense mechanism. But the Armored guards are immune to that power-up.


* There could also be a cute little powerup that allows you to turn one enemy NPC into a confused Kobold per level, who then proceeds to take off the attention from the player and eventually get caught, before turning back.

* It would be neat if the different paint jobs came with different power-ups unique to the paint jobs.
